2Four Love Songs for Soprano and Orchestra represent an orchestration of the first four of my Five Love Songs on Poems by John Skelton. The version was occasioned by the marriage of two friends. I did not orchestrate the fifth love song thinking that its bawdy content was an inappropriate celebration of newlyweds. Karen Holvik sang the premiere in the Richard B. Fisher
